MedWish/Medworks has a very extensive sort process to ensure the viability and integrity of the supplies we send. As volunteers, we will help sort and pack surplus supplies. Sorting involves categorizing items, checking expiration dates, packing, and counting & weighing boxes for inventory and/or shipment. It is relatively light-duty work, and volunteers sit while they work here.
After our shift here, the group will have lunch at Lee Wah, one block away from Medwish, on Payne and 30th St.
