Enjoy an afternoon of nostalgia as local history enthusiast Jeff Kiszewski talks about old Cleveland amusement parks, including: Euclid Beach Park, Luna Park, and Puritas Springs Park. Learn about the factors that allowed them to flourish and the events that led to their eventual demise. Explore their expansion through the investigation of historical maps. Sharing your own stories and memories of these parks will be highly encouraged!
Jeff Kiszewski is a lifelong Clevelander and lover of local history. He currently writes an article for the Larchmere Life newsletter highlighting often-overlooked historical neighborhood landmarks. When he is not working his job in marketing for a healthcare IT company, he is exploring the city with his family and talking with local experts about his neighborhood, city, and region. Jeff frequently attends presentations about local history and is very excited to be on the other side of the podium this November!
