VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Village in the Heights offers all of us ways to help our neighbors.
Volunteers experience the satisfaction that comes with using their skills to make a positive difference in people's lives.
GIVE A RIDE
Drive a member to and from doctor visits, grocery shopping or other appointments.HOME WORKS
Change a light bulb, replace batteries in a smoke detector, water plants, offer some garden help, house-watch when a Village member is away, and more!
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Assist members with their computers, TV remote controls, smart phones, DVD's.
BE A FRIEND
Visit a member who does not go out much, make a "well-check" phone call to a sick member, bring some cookies when someone has been away for a few months.
OFFICE AND PHONE SUPPORT
Help the Village office with scheduling services, answering members calls, filing, etc.
